Job Description
Science Logistics Limited is looking for a Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of laboratory supplies from international manufacturers.
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers of laboratory equipment and consumables
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Process purchase orders and manage import documentation
- Coordinate with clearing agents for timely importation
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with import regulations and NDA requirements
- Manage procurement budgets and cost optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in pharmaceutical/medical supplies
- Experience with international procurement and import procedures
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems
- CIPS certification is an advantage
